ABOUT ME

Since the age of 3, I've always had a passion for television. Fascinated by the TV screen, always wondering how my favourite cartoons were created, even how videos - before DVD, were made. Growing up I'd have many ideas for TV programmes, planning how they would be filmed, mise en scène etc.

Finally having a chance to study TV in my year 10 Media Studies class, I really enjoyed learning and sharing my ideas with others who were also passionate about media!

After leaving school I continued studying media in college, gaining 2 years hands on experience. Finding I have a big passion for editing, from enhancing promotional photos to assembling lengthy film projects! Editing makes me happy and focused, as I'm highly creative and organised - always paying attention to detail.

In 2014 I was so happy when I found out I'd won a place on the Salford University - Media City, Television & Radio course, learning so much more about the Television industry. Initially enjoying my radio studies, I discovered I loved learning about television more.

I've now produced many independent TV projects, was nominated (2016) for a BAFTAR Award - University's version of the BAFTAS, for my Zombie Drama 'Lost Hope'. And was nominated again in 2017 for my 'Life's A Beach' Documentary!

I graduated university on the 21st July 2017, realising that I needed to find a job and not wanting to leave Media City, I applied for the Facilities Assistant internship at the University of Salford at Media City. I'm still currently working there and I love it so much, but unfortunately this internship is almost coming to an end. I am hoping to find myself a job where I can use my filming/photography and editing skills.
